Gift Ideas for Valentine’s Day 2020

February, the month of love and appreciation. Have you got any plans for Valentine’s Day this year? We will be having a little date night dinner together once the girls have gone to bed and I can’t wait. I’m not sure what we’re going to cook yet but I’m looking forward to spending time together. I feel like Valentine’s Day and Anniversaries always make you realise how important it is to spend quality time together without the children. Date nights don’t happen as often as we’d like around here, but we do love our family days.

With Valentine’s Day approaching I thought I would give you all a few ideas on what to get your partners for Valentines Day this year.

FOR HIM

I’m never sure what to buy so always ask him in advance as to what he’d like. This year he has a new pair of big headphones which I bought on Amazon but here are some other ideas:

Wallet

First up we have this wallet from Trendhim, it’s a genuine leather Trifold Wallet with lots of slots for notes and also has room for coins. It’s currently on sale for £27 and comes nicely wrapped in a little brown box.

Beer

Next up we have these Valentines Chalkboard Beer Bottles from giftpup – one of my favourite websites for gifts. You get 3 different beers personalised with both of your names that come in a wooden crate for £24.99. It looks amazing and is very popular on their website. They also have different designs and have Cider options too.

Underwear

Next we have some Levis Underwear from Mainline Menswear. You get 3 pairs of underwear in a gift set and gift sets are £30 each. They come in a little red tin box which goes well with the Valentine’s theme and they are great quality.

Lynx

Next we have a Lynx car air freshener, they have recently launched a range of car fresheners which promise to slowly infuse your choice of Lynx aroma, keeping your ride fresher for longer and setting the mood for your Valentines date night if you are off out somewhere. They come in 5 different styles and start at £2.99, they can be bought from Halfords.

Beard

Next we have an organic beard balm called Surtic from Trendhim. For the bearded men, it is a nourishing beard balm that moisturizes and helps your beard grow. It contains ingredients like shea butter, beeswax and argan oil for maximum manageability. It also has a unique blend of essential oils like lime and peppermint which makes it smell really good. These pots are £15 but a little goes a long way.

FOR HER

I feel like us girls are so much easier to buy for. I’d be happy with a bunch of flowers and a nice dinner but I have found a few things that I think would make lovely gifts:

Gift Sets

If you are looking for a gift to buy for a girl, Baylis and Harding have got you covered. They are another one of my all time favourite brands for gifting. They have a Pink Gin Fizz range that smells amazing and I think the bath bubbles would make the perfect gift for Valentines day.

Fragrance

Next up we have some Yardley London Fragrance, they currently have 20% off all Eau de Toilettes this Valentines Day. I have found the English Dahlia on offer for just £6.99 on Amazon. A great price!

Soap & Glory

I found this Soap & Glory set in the Boots Sale, It’s the Sweet Tin-Tations Set which includes a shower gel, a body buffer, body butter, body spray, a bath bomb, hair conditioning mask, a daily face wash, a radiance boosting mask, a hand cream, a lip gloss and a mascara all for £27 (reduced from £60) such a bargain! I would absolutely love this. hint hint

Gin

Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime Gin (and lemonade) is one of my favourite alcoholic drinks. This would be perfect for Valentines day, now also available in Tesco.

Purse

This pink floral mini fold out purse from River Island is just £10 and would make a great Valentines gift. For days that you don’t want to carry around a big purse, this would be perfect.

I hope this guide has given you a few ideas on what to buy for your loves this Valentines Day.

*some of the items mentioned were gifted to me in return for a feature in this post, however I would never work with a brand that I didn’t truly love.
